What a tune actually does
Your skis, back to new
If your skis skid on hard snow or feel slow on the flats, they need a tune.
Base grind
Flattens the base and cuts fresh structure so the ski runs straight and fast.
Edges
Sharpened and beveled so you grip on ice and hardpack instead of sliding out.
Hot wax
Ironed into the base for glide, and to protect it from drying out.
Detune
Tips and tails softened so the ski doesn't catch an edge when you least expect it.
Full ski shop
If it's broken, bring it in
Repairs
Rock damage, core shots, cracked edges, delamination. We fix it or we tell you straight if it's not worth it.
Bindings
New skis mounted, old bindings moved, and release settings tested so they let go when they should.
